Anointed Hands

EMPOWERING FAMILIES, NUTURING CHILDREN, ENRICHING COMMUNITIES

Anointed Hands Day Care Program exists to provide compassionate, high-quality child care during non-traditional hours, supporting families whose work and life commitments extend beyond the usual weekday schedule. We are dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive and every family feels supported.

Vision Statement

To be a beacon of hope and support for families in our community by redefining child care beyond conventional boundaries, ensuring every child receives the care, attention, and opportunities they deserve—no matter the time of day.

Statement of Need

For countless families in our community, traditional child care schedules do not align with the realities of modern life. Parents and guardians working evenings, nights, weekends, or irregular shifts often face significant barriers in finding reliable care for their children. This gap put undue stress on families, limits employment opportunities, and can compromise the well-being and development of children.

Anointed Hands recognizes this urgent need. Our program is designed to fill a critical void, offering child care during evenings, nights, and weekends. We serve those who are most often overlooked—healthcare workers, hospitality professionals, retail and service employees, emergency responders, and many other whose essential roles keep our community running but whose schedules don’t fit the standard 9-to-5 model. By offering extended hours, we ensure that no family has to choose between work and the safety, security, and growth of their children. There are no existing day care programs that offer extended hours as what is being proposed by Anointed Hands.

Anointed Hands will be a non-profit day care center situated in the heart of our community. Our facility is committed to inclusivity and will welcome children from all backgrounds, offering age-appropriate activities, nutritious meals, and access to early childhood education.

Building Renovation and Financial Need

To bring Anointed Hands to life, we must transform our building into a safe, modern, and welcoming space that meets all licensing and regulatory requirements for child care. This calls for substantial investment:

Renovation Work: Upgrades to plumbing, electrical systems, heating/cooling, and fire safety systems.

Accessibility: Installation of ramps, widened doorways, and accessible restrooms for children and families with disabilities.

Security Enhancements: Secure entryways, surveillance systems, and child-safe finishes throughout the facility.

Outdoor Play Area: Creation of a fenced outdoor space with safe play equipment and green space for recreation.

Learning Materials and Furnishings: Purchase of age-appropriate furniture, books, toys, and educational technology.

Initial estimates indicate that significant funding must be raised to complete these renovations and equip the facility for children’s needs. Every dollar invested will have a lasting impact on local families, empowering them to build better lives.

Our program reduces stress on households, lowers absenteeism at local businesses, and creates new opportunities for children to learn and grow. With each child we welcome, each parent we support, and each partnership we form, Anointed Hands will be a catalyst for positive change.

We invite you to join us in this mission. Your support—whether through donations, volunteerism, or partnership—will help us renovate our facility, hire dedicated staff, and open the doors to families in need. Together, we can ensure that no child is left without care, no family is left without options, and our community flourishes.
